# Icon list (product block)

Show up to five key features with icons in your product information, such as Free shipping, Handmade or Eco-friendly.

The **Icon list** block shows an optional heading and up to five icons with short labels, right inside your product information. Use it to highlight what makes the product special, like free shipping, handmade quality or eco-friendly materials, next to the price and buy buttons.

This block is different from the [Icon list section](/articles/sections/theme-sections/icon-list.md):

* The **block** sits inside the **Product information** section, among your product details. It shows up to five icons, laid out as a grid, a row or a list.
* The **section** is a separate full-width section you can add to any page. It shows up to 12 items as a row of pills that can link to other pages.

### 1. Our guide to set up an Icon list block:

**Steps:**

* In the theme editor, open a product page using the page selector at the top.
* In the **Product information** section, click **Add block.**
* Select **Icon list.**
* Set the icon and label for each item under **Icon 1** to **Icon 5.**
* Click **Save.**

### 2. Block settings

* **General**
  * **Heading:** Optional title above the icons, for example "Key features". Leave empty to hide it.
  * **Layout:** How the icons are arranged:
    * **Grid:** Three columns, with each icon above its label.
    * **Inline:** Icons and labels side by side in a row that wraps onto new lines.
    * **List:** One item per line, with the icon to the left of the label.
* **Icon 1** to **Icon 5** (each has the same settings)
  * **Icon:** None / Box / Certificate / Chat bubble / Check mark / Clipboard / Credit card / Eye / Globe / Heart / Lightning bolt / Lock / Mail / Map pin / Percent / Phone / Plane / Price tag / Question mark / Recycle / Return / Ruler / Shopping bag / Smile / Snowflake / Star / Store / Sun / Timer / Truck / User.
  * **Alternative icon/image:** Upload your own icon or image. Replaces the selected icon.
  * **Label:** The text beside the icon.

An item is hidden when its **Icon** is None and it has no image or label. Icons 4 and 5 are empty by default.

### 3. Tips

* Keep labels to two or three words so they fit neatly, especially in the **Grid** layout.
* Use three or six items for a tidy **Grid**. For six, add a second Icon list block with the heading left empty.
* Upload simple, square icons with a transparent background for **Alternative icon/image** so they match the built-in icons.
