# Video reels

Add short vertical videos to your product page, with a product card so shoppers can add to cart while they watch.

The **Video reels** block shows up to 6 videos as a row of round thumbnails on your product page. Tapping a thumbnail opens a vertical (9:16) video viewer in a popup; on phones it slides up as a bottom sheet. Videos play muted with mute and pause buttons, move to the next video when one ends, and can be switched by swiping, tapping the thumbnail strip or using the arrow keys. A product card in the viewer shows the product's image, title and price with a one-tap add to cart button. Use it for customer reviews, how-to clips or styling videos.

### 1. Our guide to set up a Video reels block:

**Steps:**

* In the theme editor, open a product template.
* In the **Product information** section, click **Add block.**
* Locate **Video reels.**
* Upload a **Video** under **Video 1**, and add more videos under Video 2–6 as needed.
* Click **Save.**

### 2. Block settings

* **Display position:** Where the block appears on desktop: Product info / Media. With Media, the block appears below the product images on desktop and stays in the product information area on mobile.
* **Heading:** Title shown above the thumbnails and at the top of the viewer.
* **Thumbnail size:** Size of the round thumbnails, 56–120px.
* **Product card**
  * **Show product card in the viewer:** Shows the product image, title, price and add to cart button over each video.
  * **Background:** Background color of the product card.
  * **Background opacity:** Transparency of the card background, 0–100%.
  * **Text:** Color of the product title and price.
  * **Button background:** Background color of the add to cart button.
  * **Button icon:** Color of the icon on the add to cart button.
* **Video 1** to **Video 6** (each has the same settings)
  * **Video:** The video to play. Only videos you add here appear in the block.
  * **Cover image:** Image shown in the round thumbnail. Leave empty to use the video's preview image.
  * **Product:** The product shown in the product card for this video. Leave empty to use the current product.

### 3. Tips

* Record or export videos in vertical 9:16 format so they fill the viewer without heavy cropping.
* The add to cart button adds the product straight to the cart and opens the cart drawer or cart notification when the product has only one variant. For products with options, the button takes shoppers to the product page to choose a variant.
* Link a different **Product** to each video to cross-sell related items from your reviews or styling videos.
* You can add one Video reels block per product template.
