# Multicolumn: Reveal

Show image or video cards with a heading, and let shoppers tap a button to reveal more text on each card.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Pro feature.** This section requires a Pro or Max License key. Without one, it's hidden on your live store and shows a 🔒 Pro notice in the theme editor. [Learn about plans and License keys](/articles/general-information/license-key-and-plans.md)

***

The **Multicolumn: Reveal** section displays a row of image or video cards, each showing an optional number and a heading. Shoppers tap the **+** button on a card to reveal its description over the image, which darkens so the text stays readable, and tap again to close it. Use it for "why choose us" points, benefits or brand values where you want a clean layout with details on demand.

### 1. Our guide to set up a Multicolumn: Reveal section:

{% hint style="info" %}
**Steps:**

* In the theme editor, click **Add section.**
* Locate **Multicolumn: Reveal.**
* Add an image or video, a heading and a description to each **Card** block.
* Click **Save.**
  {% endhint %}

### 2. Section settings

* **Section header**
  * **Caption:** Small text shown above the heading.
  * **Heading:** The main title of the section.
  * **Heading size:** Size of the heading, 20–60px.
  * **Description:** Short text shown below the heading.
  * **Header alignment:** Left / Center.
* **Layout**
  * **Columns on desktop:** Number of cards per row on desktop, 2–4. Mobile always shows one card per row.
  * **Enable carousel on desktop:** Turns the cards into a slider with arrows on desktop. Only applies when you have more cards than columns.
  * **Enable swipe on mobile:** Turns the cards into a swipeable row on mobile instead of stacking them.
* **Card**
  * **Card ratio:** Shape of every card: Portrait / Square / Tall (reel) / Landscape / Adapt to image.
  * **Card padding:** Space between the card edge and its content, 16–48px.
* **Numbers**
  * **Show numbers:** Shows a number above each card heading.
  * **Number style:** 01. / 1. / 1.

  * **Bottom padding:** 0–100px.

### 3. Card block settings

Each **Card** block adds one card. The section can have up to 8 cards.

* **Image:** The card background image.
* **Video:** A background video that plays muted on a loop. Overrides the image when both are set.
* **Heading:** The card title, always visible.
* **Heading size:** Size of the card title, 18–48px.
* **Description:** The text revealed when the shopper opens the card. Keep it brief so it fits within the card. The + button only appears when a description is set.

### 4. Tips

* Keep descriptions to two or three short sentences. Choose **Portrait** or **Tall (reel)** if you need more room.
* In the theme editor, selecting a Card block opens that card so you can preview its text.
* To show text and a button on the card at all times, or to tag products, use the **Multicolumn: Cards** section instead.
