# Product benefits

Surround a product image with up to six short benefits, such as free shipping or natural materials, with a heading, text and a button.

{% hint style="warning" %}
**Pro feature.** This section requires a Pro or Max License key. Without one, it's hidden on your live store and shows a 🔒 Pro notice in the theme editor. [Learn about plans and License keys](/articles/general-information/license-key-and-plans.md)
{% endhint %}

The **Product benefits** section puts an image in the center, with your heading, description and button, and up to six benefit labels arranged on either side of it. Each benefit has an icon and a short line of text. Use it to show what makes a product special at a glance.

You can add it to any page, including product pages.

On desktop, the benefits are split between the left and right sides of the image. On mobile, they're hidden unless you turn on **Show benefit blocks on mobile**, which shows them as a swipeable row under the description.

### 1. Our guide to set up a Product benefits section:

{% hint style="info" %}
**Steps:**

* In the theme editor, click **Add section.**
* Locate **Product benefits.**
* Choose an **Image** and edit the six Benefit blocks.
* Click **Save.**
  {% endhint %}

### 2. Section settings

* **Color scheme:** The section's background and text colors.
* **Image:** The center image.
* **Mobile image:** A different image for phones. Leave it blank to use **Image**.
* **Image ratio:** Adapt to image / Square / Portrait / Landscape / Circle / Arch.
* **Content**
  * **Heading:** The section title. Leave it blank to hide it.
  * **Heading size:** 15–80px.
  * **Description:** Text under the heading.
  * **Button label:** A button below the image. Leave it blank to hide it.
  * **Button link:** Where the button goes.
  * **Use outline button style:** Shows the button as an outline instead of a solid button.
* **Mobile layout**
  * **Show benefit blocks on mobile:** Shows the benefits as a swipeable slider below the description on phones.
* **Section padding**
  * **Top padding** and **Bottom padding:** 0–100px.

### 3. Block settings

You can add up to six Benefit blocks. The first half go on the left of the image and the rest on the right.

**Benefit block**

* **Heading:** The benefit text, for example "Free shipping".
* **Heading size:** 15–80px.
* **Icon:** Choose from 31 built-in icons, or **None**.
* **Icon size:** 20–80px.
* **Alternative icon/image:** Upload your own icon or small image. It replaces the built-in icon.
* **Colors**
  * **Use custom colors:** Lets you set this benefit's own colors instead of the color scheme.
  * **Text**, **Icon** and **Background:** The custom colors for this benefit.

### 4. Tips

* Use an even number of benefits, such as four or six, so both sides of the image are balanced.
* Keep each benefit to two or three words so the labels stay on one line.
* A product photo on a plain or transparent background works well in the center, especially with **Image ratio** set to **Square** or **Circle**.
