# Testimonials

Show customer reviews with photos, star ratings and linked products. Use it to build trust and social proof.

The **Testimonials** section shows customer reviews as cards, each with an optional photo, star rating, review text, name and linked product. When you add more reviews than fit in a row, they turn into a carousel.

### 1. Our guide to set up a Testimonials section:

**Steps:**

* In the theme editor, click **Add section.**
* Locate **Testimonials.**
* Click **Save.**

The section is added with three **Review** blocks.

### 2. Section settings

* **Layout:** 2 columns / 3 columns. How many reviews appear per row on desktop.

* **Section header**
  * **Heading:** The title above the reviews. Leave it blank to hide it.
  * **Heading size:** 15–80px.
  * **Heading alignment:** Left / Center. With **Left**, the button sits next to the heading. With **Center**, it moves below the reviews.
* **Button**
  * **Button label** and **Button link:** A button such as *View all reviews*. Leave the label blank to hide it.
* **General**
  * **Image ratio:** Adapt to media / Square / Portrait / Landscape / Circle. Controls the shape of the review photos.
  * **Color scheme:** The section background.
* **Corner radius**
  * **Corner radius:** Rounds the review photos and cards, 0–40px.
* **Section**
  * **Top padding** and **Bottom padding:** 0–100px.

### 3. Block settings

Each block is one customer review.

* **Image:** A photo of the customer or of the product in use.
* **Star rating:** 0–5, in half-star steps. Set it to 0 to hide the stars.
* **Review text:** The review itself.
* **Bio:** The customer's name or a short description.
* **Product:** Links the review to a product. The product's image, title and price are shown on the card.
* **Colors**
  * **Color scheme:** The colors of this review card.
  * **Star color:** The color of the stars.

### 4. Tips

* On phones, shoppers swipe through the reviews one at a time.
* Link each review to the product it's about, so shoppers can go straight from the review to the product.
