# Extras

Add a back to top button that appears as shoppers scroll down, so they can jump back to the top of the page with one click.

***

The **Extras** settings control the back to top button. It's a round button with an arrow that appears in the bottom corner of the screen once shoppers have scrolled down a page. A ring around it fills up to show how far down the page they are. Clicking it scrolls smoothly back to the top.

The button only appears after shoppers have scrolled past the first screen of the page. On product pages, it's hidden while the sticky add to cart bar is showing.

### 1. Open the Extras settings:

{% hint style="info" %}
**Steps:**

* In the theme editor, click **Theme settings** (the gear icon) → **Extras.**
* Make your changes.
* Click **Save.**
  {% endhint %}

### 2. Settings

* **Back to Top Button**
  * **Enable back to top button:** Turns the button on or off. It's on by default.
  * **Show on mobile:** Shows the button on phones. On mobile, it's always centered at the bottom of the screen.
  * **Button position:** Left / Right. This sets the position on desktop and tablet.
  * **Visibility trigger:** How far down the page, as a percentage, shoppers must scroll before the button appears, 0–70%. The default is 50%.
  * **Color scheme:** The button's colors. See [Colors](/articles/theme-settings/inspiredtheme-settings-intro/colors.md).

### 3. Tips

* Lower the **Visibility trigger** to 20–30% if your pages are long, such as big collections or blog articles, so the button appears sooner.
* If you use a chat app or another floating button in the bottom-right corner, set **Button position** to **Left** so they don't overlap.
* Choose a **Color scheme** that contrasts with your page background so the button is easy to spot.
