# How to use Canva templates

### **1. About Canva**

Canva is an online design and visual communication platform with a mission to empower everyone in the world to design anything and publish anywhere. Canva makes designing beautiful creative assets easy for everyone. From social media images, videos, and gifs to posters, websites, booklets, multimedia presentations, and heaps more, Canva is an invaluable tool for helping you level up your design skills, even if you’re just getting started.

### **2. What is a Canva template?**

Preparing images for your Shopify store can be a daunting task. That's why we provide Canva templates along with the theme to make it easier for you. Canva templates are pre-designed graphics that you can customize by adding your own images, editing text, changing colors, and incorporating other elements to create unique banners. You can then upload these banners to your Shopify store.

### **3. How to use Canva templates?**

**Step 1:** Create a Canva account. To do so, visit [canva.com](http://canva.com). If you already have an account, proceed to the next step.

**Step 2:** After completing the purchase of the theme, you will be able to download a **.zip** file that is attached to your order. Please **UNZIP** the file first. Click on the **Canva templates** folder.

**Step 3**: Click on the template links provided in the file: **Canva Templates.pdf** to access the preview page of the template.

**Step 4:** Select **Use template** to create a copy of the template, which you can then customize.

**Step 5:** Download your design.

**Step 6:** Upload the image to your theme.
