Set up collections

You can group your products into collections to make it easier for your customers to find them by category.

Your collections can be organized by product type, gender, material, color, size, season, sale status, or whatever you want.

Here's how to set up collections on Shopify, step-by-step.

1. From your Shopify admin, go to Products > Collections. Click on 'Create collection'.

2. Input the Title, Description, and Image for the collection.

3. In the Collection type section, select the type of collection you would like to build.

You can create two types of collections:

• A manual collection includes only the products that you choose individually.

• An automated collection uses selection conditions to automatically include matching products. After you set up the conditions, future products are added automatically.

4. Click “Save” when finished and get ready to start adding products to your collection

Note: After you set up a collection, you can't change its type. You can edit a collection's name or description, change its featured image, or change the display order of its products.
